Jose Mourinho is considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer if, he leaves Real Madrid as expected. The ‘special one’ plans to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford one day and spending a couple of seasons in France with PSG would be the ideal stepping stone.
The Mirror say that Mourinho is conscious of the fact that managing some clubs would ruin his chances of being offered the job at Old Trafford, so is considering his next move carefully.
A return to Chelsea or taking over from Roberto Mancini at Man City would make Mourinho an unrealistic candidate for United.
Mourinho has one of the best CVs in football management. He has won the Champions League with two different clubs and is attempting to make that three with Real this season.
He has also won league titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain. Adding France to that list would be achievable at moneybags PSG.
They look set to clinch the French title this season and have progressed to the quarter finals of the Champions League. PSG’s Qatari owners are more than willing to back their manager and splash the cash.
In the last year they have spent well over €100m bringing in the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lucas Moura and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Joinng PSG and building a team of his own appeals to Mourinho, as it would be a similar project to the one he faced at Chelsea when he took over nearly ten years ago.
