Fenerbahçe star impresses Tottenham and Liverpool

Tottenham and Liverpool are both in the hunt for highly rated Fenerbahçe striker Moussa Sow.

The Senegalese international has scored 14 league goals in 25 games so far this season for the Turkish giants to help them keep up with rivals Galatasary in the title race.

The French born star has also shown that moving countries doesn’t necessarily disrupt his form. Before starring for Fenerbahçe, he was part of Lille’s title winning team scoring 25 goals in 36 games as they won the French league. In two seasons he scored 36 goals in 76 games for Lille in all competitions.

Sow wants to play in England

The Daily Star reports that the 27-year-old is keen to make his mark on the Premier League. He told Turkish TV channel TRT: “Everyone knows I want to play in the Premier League one day, if Liverpool made a formal offer, if my club accepted I would be happy to play in England.”

However, Tottenham boss Andre Villas Boas is also interested in Sow and could be tempted to hijack any Liverpool move for the striker.

AVB and his Liverpool counterpart Brendan Rodgers know each other well from their time as colleagues at Chelsea working under Jose Mourinho.

It seems that they developed a similar way of thinking if their potential transfer targets are anything to go by. As well as Sow they are also ready to battle it out for Blackpool star, Thomas Ince and Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen.
